- Apply on that agency's official portal or office when registrations open.
- After selection, pay your share; an empanelled vendor installs the pump.
- The pump is inspected and handed over; keep the warranty papers.
Frequently asked questions
Is there a registration fee on a website?+
No. The ministry has warned about fake PM-KUSUM websites that take 'registration fees'. Apply only through your state's agency and never pay an unknown website.
Is the scheme still open?+
The deadline for projects already sanctioned was extended to March 2027 and a new phase has been talked about. Whether new applications are open depends on your state, so check with your state agency.
