Who is not eligible

  • Income tax payers (last assessment year).
  • Serving or retired government employees (except Group D / multi-tasking staff).
  • Pensioners getting ₹10,000 or more a month.
  • Doctors, engineers, lawyers, CAs and architects in practice.
  • Current or former ministers, MPs, MLAs and holders of constitutional posts.

How to apply, step by step

  1. Go to pmkisan.gov.in → Farmers Corner → New Farmer Registration, or visit your nearest Common Service Centre (CSC).
  2. Enter Aadhaar, land details and bank account.
  3. Complete e-KYC (OTP on Aadhaar-linked mobile, or biometric at CSC).
  4. The state verifies your land record; then instalments start.

Frequently asked questions

How do I check if my instalment has come?+

On pmkisan.gov.in, open 'Know Your Status' and enter your registration number or Aadhaar-linked mobile.

Why did my instalment stop?+

Usually because e-KYC is pending, the bank account isn't Aadhaar-seeded, or land verification failed. Check your status page for the reason.
