Benefits in detail

• ₹1,500 every month, ₹18,000 a year.
• Paid by DBT into her own Aadhaar-linked bank account.

Who can apply

• Woman living in Maharashtra, age 21 to 65.
• Married, widowed, divorced, abandoned or destitute; also one unmarried woman per family.
• Family income up to ₹2.5 lakh a year.
• Bank account in her own name, linked with Aadhaar.

Who is not eligible

• Families where anyone pays income tax.
• Families with a permanent government employee or government pensioner.
• Families with a four-wheeler (tractor is allowed).
• Women already getting ₹1,500 or more a month from another government scheme.
• Families of current or former MPs and MLAs.

Documents needed

• Aadhaar card
• Maharashtra domicile certificate (or old ration card / voter ID / birth or school certificate)
• Income certificate (not needed with a yellow or orange ration card)
• Ration card
• Bank passbook
• Photo and signed undertaking (hamipatra)

How to apply, step by step

1. Complete e-KYC on ladakibahin.maharashtra.gov.in if you are already a beneficiary.
2. New applications are taken only when the government opens them, through the website or the Anganwadi worker.
3. Call 181 for help; applying is free.
