MHADA builds affordable flats across Maharashtra and allots them through a computerised lottery. Each regional board (Mumbai, Konkan, Pune, Nashik, Nagpur, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Amravati) runs its own lottery, usually once or twice a year. Unsold flats and some plots are also offered first-come-first-served. Flats are split by income group (EWS, LIG, MIG, HIG), and you apply only in the group your income matches.
